M57 the Ring Nebula in Lyra, taken July 20, 2008 from observing field, although Moon was rising in the east and quickly flooding the hazy sky, I caught a good bit of color in the outer regions. Next time I'll use the guide camera so I can sit on it longe

M31 August 8/9 08 Cannon 300D, 10"SC at F/5, 1 x 8 min. at ISO 400 Not as good as SOME, but getting round stars. Now I need to work on the processing a bit more to try and bring out more subtle detail...but at least I got some of the dark lanes.

sculptor_1025_spikes

Sculptor Galaxy NGC 253 Oct 25, thought I'd add some spikes to distract from the crummy stars....I'll try again to get more photons...but I'll need to get back out there quick, 'cause this object is not going to get harder to image as time goes by...get
