November 18 and 20 were great days to observe the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle Endeavour on mission STS126. Finally on the 20th, after 4 previous failed attempts, I managed to image the two from Charlie Elliott. I was able to get 31 reasonable frames which I stacked. This is the result. I believe this is the first close up, non-trail, image from the ISS from Charlie Elliott and the first one as well which shows the ISS together with the Space Shuttle Endeavour.
While I was taken this image, an EVA was in progress and spacewalkers Heide Stefanyshyn-Piper and Shane Kimbrough were working on the starboard solar alpha rotary joint
Also, November 20th marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of the first segment of the International Space Station. Happy 10th Birthday!!
