Clear Skies with good seeing this morning.  Had to wait 1/2 hour for good transparency.  Solar Activity remains Very Low with no flares in the last two days.  Today is spotless day 63 since Solar Max.  Total Active Region Area for today is zero as well as the spot count.  However, a new active region is turning in view at the Eastern limb, so the spotless days will not last long.

Clear Skies with average seeing.  Solar Activity remains Very Low with no flares in the last two days.  AR2645 has turned to the far side of the Sun and AR2648 is only visible in Ha with no signs of a spot.  At 0030 UT AR2645 was still visible with 5 spots, so today’s statistics are Total Active Region Area at 70 millionths and a spot count of 7 and I believe we are getting ready for another spotless day.

Clear Skies with good transparency and seeing before the Jetstream moved overhead again. Solar Activity has returned to Very Low with no flares in the last two days. We have two active regions of which AR2645 is turning to the far side of the Sun and AR2648 just passed the central meridian. Total Active Region Area for today is at 400 millionths and the spot count is at 18. Some nice features to image, including the active regions as well as some nice prominences and filaments, which are included in today’s images.

Clear Skies this morning and seeing conditions went from poor to average over a period of several hours.  Wow!  The Solar Activity has gotten a very large boost over the last 24 hours.  So far AR2644, while being close to the Western limb, has produced three M-class flares of which one caused an R2 alert to be posted.  I was able to capture some of the activity in my images.  We also have 4 Active Regions now, AR2644, 45, 47, and 48.  The latter one just coming around the Eastern limb.  So today full disk images and close ups of the regions with some nice flaring.

Cirrus clouds this morning with a number of contrails.  However seeing was not too bad, but interrupted my session a few times.  Solar Activity went from Very Low to Low, with three C-class flares in the last two days.  We have three Active Regions, AR2644, 45 and 46, with a total region area of 320 millionths and a total of 21 Spots. Full disk images today as well as close ups of the regions and a few filaments at the Western half of the Sun.

Clear Skies with below average transparency.  Solar Activity remains Very Low with no flares in the last two days.  However, a new spot can be seen just emerging at the Eastern Limb. The Sun shows some small but nice filaments so all wavelengths have something to show for.  Today full disk images as well as close ups of several areas on the solar disk.
