Another hot day, so my observing session starts right when the Sun clears the trees from my neighbor.  The Spotless spell continues, and so does the lack of C-class flares resulting in another Very Low Solar activity for today.  A fellow observer did report some pores yesterday, but today they are gone, but another more substantiated pore at longitude 9 degrees popped up.  The group of filaments is starting to reach the Western limb, but it still is  a nice display.  Full disk images today and close ups of some areas on the Sun as well as a small close up of today’s pore.

Another hot day, so my session is early today.  The Sun still does not show a Sunspot, and the group of filaments is moving to the Western limb. Solar Activity is still Very Low with no C-class flare in the last two days.  Just a single B-class flare yesterday and today. A nice Prom is visible at the Eastern limb, so we’ll keep watching what it means.  Today the usual three full disk images and a close up of the filaments in Ha and CaK.

Had a late start today, and in addition had to wait an hour for a long trail of clouds to move through for the Ha close ups and the CaK image.  Seeing was pretty good at 8/10.  Today is another Spotless day but in Ha the Sun looks beautiful with the activity of the plasma in the Northern half of the Sun.  I am posting two images at 2x out of 12, only to show what it looked like.  Real rewarding for the 1 hour wait.  Today the close ups as well as the full disk images.

Scattered clouds this morning, but enough room for a full imaging session.  The Sun’s activity has been Very Low since the last C-1.7 class flare on June 19th, and has not shown any Sunspots since June 23rd.  So we focus on other features, such as the beautiful filaments that are crossing the solar disk in the last few days.  Today three full disk images as well as close ups of the filaments in Ha and the region that produces them in CaK.

High Cirrus clouds today but some were thin enough to image through.  Solar activity is still Very Low.  An early B2.2 flare this morning was the only flare since the B5.8 flare on the 27th.  However, we see some very nice Filaments in the NE quadrant.  Images in all wavelengths today and some close ups of the NE quadrant in Ha and CaK.

Transparency was way down with bad seeing.  However, I caught a hole big enough for my WL image.  No Active Regions again on the Sun today and we exceeded the number of AR-less days in the previous rotation.  The problem with FireCapture with the ASI174MM is that the sequence is captured very fast.  This is fine when conditions are good.  However, a few streaks of clouds were there when I captured this image.  These are visible in the final image.

Transparency was 2/5 today and seeing at 4/10.  In addition had to wait long for holes between the clouds.  Today is another “spotless” observing session.  In addition, the last C-class flare we had was seven days ago.  Solar Activity is Very Low.  However, in Ha we see a few nice proms at both sides of the Sun, and a nice filament with plasma activity extending around the rim on the East side.

Clear Skies this morning.  Seeing 6/10.  No sunspots to see this morning, however the Ha close up of the NE limb shows some prominence activity coming around as well as a nice filament.  5 B-class flares in the last two days, but no C-class flares, so the Solar Activity stays at Very Low.  A few plages are visible in the CaK image but nothing major.

Clouds all over this morning, so only was able to get an image in WL.  Seeing 2/10.  Solar Activity continues to be Very Low with only a B3.7  flare early this morning.  No reported active regions today for a second day in a row.  Since I could not observe in Ha, I do not know if there were interesting features visible or not.

Yesterday was the last day I could see AR2553 and since I was able to image the Region from June 10th, except for one day, I put a composite together showing how the area evolved during that period.  The area around the spot was great and unfortunately I had to crop too much to show a larger area and more filaments.  But still I believe it looks great.
