Bright and calm skies today.  Today a full disk image as well as Ha and continuum filtered images.  AR2222 is 540 mil. and AR2218 shows at 140.  17 all C-class flares today and some nice proms.

Clear Skies and freezing this morning.  However, the sky is not stable enough for WLC close ups.  Today a full disk image and a close up of AR2216 and AR2222.  AR2216 still looks good at a size of 200, but AR2222 has overtaken 16 and 19 by growing over night from 120 to 330 millionth.  Wonder if it will keep this pace up.  Flare activity is not high with a dozen or so C-class flares over the last 24 hours.

Clear Skies, but the seeing is not good.  AR2209 has increased from 950 to a sizable 1090 millionth, the largest size in the last two weeks.  AR2216 shrunk from 720 to 420 millionth, but is still nice to watch. Today a full disk image and a closeup of 2216 in Ha and a closeup of AR2216 in WLC through the SVC.  Wish the quality could have been better. :-(

Active Regions AR2216 is showing very nice already at 640 millionth, while 2209 dropped to 900.

Active Region 2209 increased in size a little today to 970 millionth.  The seeing was average so the close ups are not that great especially the Ha version of AR2209.  However some detail still can be seen.

Active Region 2209 dropped its size from 1100 to 930 millionth today.  Seeing was pretty bad so no close up images today.

Clear Skies with average seeing.  AR2209 has grown considerably and has now a size of 1100 millionth with a 26 sunspot count.  The layered  cold air made a WLContinuum not feasible today with the C11, but the 3x close up in Ha does look reasonable.  I might have to resort to the SVC90 for the visible light image.

Sunny skies again and for a change it was relative stable enough for a WLC close up, but not good enough for a crisp image.  Today AR2205 is dominant at 350 millionths and is shown at the peak of an M 2.3  flare in the close up.

Clear Skies again good enough for a full disk image and close ups of 2205 with a nice M2.3 flare and a nice prom, but not stable at all for WLC.

Sunny day again with a full disk image and two close ups in the morning,  and a special ISS-Sun transit image for the afternoon.  With the ISS image I did want to test the data transfer performance of the ASI120MM with my laptop.  Whereas I always lost a frame or two with the DMK21 even at 15 frames per second, the ASI ran at 54 frames per second and did not have any lost frames. For this image I did eliminate every other image in the AVI in order to reduce the processing time.  Very happy with this!
