Clear Skies with average seeing conditions.  Solar Activity is still Very Low with no C-class flares in the last two days and not even a B-class flare in the last day.  AR2597 can still be seen very faintly at the side of the Sun in CaK and WL.  Total Active Region Area for today is at 100 millionths and the spot count is at 7.  Without any major regions, the filaments are very nice and holding out well so far.  In fact in addition to the three full disk images, I am showing three images with the filaments visible on the Sun today.

Clear skies, but seeing was terrible at times.  Solar Activity is still Very Low.  The only named Active Region is still AR2597 which covers an area of 100 millionths and is getting close to the Eastern limb.  Total sunspot count today is 10.  Also the filaments are still very nice and a few prominences were visible.  Todays images are full disk in the three wavelengths as well as close ups of AR2597 and the Eastern Limb and the NW Prom.

Played hide and seek with the Sun as a wide band of clouds moved in just as I was ready setting up.  Finally got a nice area of clear skies with average seeing.  Today’s activity is Low as we had one C-class flare just today.  AR2597 is the only area remaining with a size of 60 millionths and 8 Sun spots.  Some nice filaments are on the disk surface today.  Captured also four images of AR2597 between 1410 and 1420 UT but the area did not show a lot of activity at that time.  Full disk images today as well as close ups of the areas.

Clear Skies and although the seeing was not great, I brought the C11 out also for a change, for my first session in CR2182.  Solar Activity is Very Low with three regions, AR2593, 96 and a new not yet  named region in the Southern hemisphere. In addition, a very nice filaprom has moved onto the disk in the SE hemisphere. Total active region area today is at 100 millionths and the sunspot count is at 10.  Today full disk images and close ups of the regions including a few made with the Celestron C11 in WL.

Another day with clear skies and below average seeing.  I heard today that this year we have had already over 85 days with over 90 degrees.  Solar Activity is Very Low, although the number of B-class flares is abundant.  Total Active Region Area today is at 170 with a total sunspot count of 15.  Today also marks the first day of Fall, which arrived at 1421 UT.  In fact, my full disk Ha image from today marks my first Fall image for this year.
