Clear skies with below average seeing.  AR2794 remains stable and AR2795 shows some decay.  Total spot count today is 6.  Today images of the full disk as well as close ups of the mentioned areas in the three wavelengths.

Clear skies, but the observing session  was a race against the clouds, which are covering the sky now.  The Sun shows very little activity in both areas with the exception of a few B-Class flares.  Today full disk images and close ups in the three wavelengths.

Clear skies and colder than yesterday, and so was the seeing. So today only full disk images and a close up of the two regions in Ha. I hope the seeing conditions will improve soon.

Clear skies, but still freezing, and the Sun at an altitude of 16 degrees at the time of observation on the last day of CR2238.  Together with winds of 15-18 miles/hour this resulted in low seeing conditions.  The areas of AR2794 and AR2795  have increased, but the seeing prevented good details.  Today full disk images as well as close ups of the two regions.  The  rotation closes with a Total Active Region area for the rotation period of 8050 millionths and two spotless days.

Clear skies, but the seeing was below average, especially during the CaK imaging.  We have Very Low Solar activity.  AR2794 is stable but a new region towards the Eastern limb shows a little magnetic activity and created some B-class  flares.  This region is not named yet, but I would expect it to be named at midnight.  A small prom is also visible at the SW limb.  Today full disk images as well as close ups in the three wavelengths.

Still clear skies before the rain returns later today.  Today we have a spotless Sun with Very Low activity.  The main visible areas in Ha and CaK are the plages from the last two active regions in the southern hemisphere.

Clear skies this morning with average seeing.  AR2793 is decaying a little with two very small spots and shows very little activity, so the Sun’s activity is and remains Very Low.  A nice prom was also visible at the SW limb as well as on the Eastern limb and NW.  I made an image of the larger one at the SW limb.

Clear skies this morning before the clouds and rain arrives, but the seeing conditions were rather poor.  The plage of AR2791 is ready to turn to the far side.  AR2792 did produce a C4 class flare and AR2793 a few B-class flares.  Otherwise the sun’s activity is low.  A few nice prominences did show in the SE and NW.  Today full disk images and closeups of the mentioned regions.

A short session before the clouds returned.  AR2790 is rotating out of view.  A new area is rotating in sight at the Eastern limb as a plage.  However you never know what tomorrow will bring.  Full disk images today in the three wavelengths as well as close ups of the mentioned areas.

Clear skies this morning with good seeing.  AR2790 is moving fast on its way to the Western limb, it won’t be long and we will not see her anymore.  Go back and look at the size of AR2783 at the beginning of the rotation and the size of AR2790 now.   Wondering what’s next in store….
