Clear skies again.  The plage which started to rotate into view yesterday at the Eastern limb seems to contain a new yet unnamed spot.  One can nicely make out the penumbra as well as a light bridge in the WL closeup.  We’ll see if it gets named today, so we can start tracking it again.

Clear skies and cold.  However, the spots are gone.  What’s left is the plage from AR2782 and another plage near the SE limb.  Today full disk images in 540nm, Ha and CaK.

Clear skies today but many wide con-trails made the session much more challenging.  AR2782 has decayed in WL and I could not see it.  However in Ha and CaK the plages both AR2781 and 82 were nicely visible.  I am still imaging on my old laptop.  The replacement battery for my main laptop is supposed to arrive next Tuesday.  So until them it will be a handicap.

Finally some clear skies again, but the seeing was poor.  This was my first chance to image AR2782.  AR2781 is still stable but has decayed to an Hsx spot before it soon will turn to the far-side of the Sun.  My main laptop broke down and I am now using an old backup, but I lost my settings for now.  So the images today are using new settings.  Full disk images today as well as close ups of AR2781 and AR2782.

Because of Storm Eta, I did not expect to image today.  However, a few gaps showed between clouds enough for some 540nm images today, however it was hard to focus and adjust the exposure.  I waited in vain for some more, but did not get enough time, so finally gave up…..  AR2780 has decayed again to a plage. AR2781 decays also some, and shows less activity.  Today 540nm images of the whole disk as well as a close up of AR2780.

Clear skies after an early cloud cover this morning.  AR2781 has developed into a nice Active Region, currently showing 7 spots and covering 450 millionths.  AR2780 has developed the one spot which is now registered, but today I notice a few small pores below it in the 540nm image. Today full disk images as well as close ups of the mentioned regions.

Clear skies again today with good seeing.  The plage AR2780 has started to develop some pores again, so we will be following if they evolve further and become stable enough to be registered as spots.  AR2781 is so far the largest named area in the new Cycle 25 and registers 8 spots.  In addition some proms at the NE and NW limbs today.  The Sun seems to come out of the Very Low Activity and moving into the Low Activity category.

Clear Skies this morning with good seeing conditions.  AR2781 showed up covering an area of 150 millionths.  AR2780 has sizzled away but the plage is still visible in Ha and CaK.  AR2781 shows some interesting activity shown in the CaK image.  In addition, the region produced a few C-class flares.  Today’s images show the full disk in the three wavelengths as well as closeups of AR2781, and the remaining plage of AR2780 in Cak and Ha.

Clear skies with relative good seeing conditions.  AR2780, which formed yesterday, is decaying already and I did not see any spots during my session in WL.  A new area has shown up at the South Eastern limb and was named this morning as AR2781.  It is nicely visible in all three wavelengths and shows three spots.   Also its size seems to be larger than any of the recent areas as they started their way to the Western limb.  We are now also seeing a few C-Class flares, rather than the B-class flares.  Looking forward to what tomorrow will bring.

Clear skies today. Seeing is still not good, but has improved a little.   AR2778 has disappeared around the Western limb, but a new region has emerged at the NE limb.  AR2780 is showing a few small spots.  We’ll need to see what will evolve here.  Full disk images today in the three wavelengths as well as close ups of the new region.
