The clouds cleared and we had another opportunity to observe the Sun.  A new rotation CR2232 started today.  AR2765 is gone but we see a faculae in WL at the NE limb. Its also nicely visible in CaK.  A few proms in Ha.  For the rest its quiet.

One Active Region…… in three wave lengths…… over 5 days…….

Here a composite image of AR2765 which was visible on the Sun from June 4 until June 16.  It boosted 130 millionths on the 6th, and its max. Wolf number was 17 on 6/9. Its classification was an Hsx for the days shown.  The composite covers the 5 consecutive days from 6/11 till 6/15 and are shown in Continuum, Ha and CaK.

Clear skies for a little while with average seeing.  AR2765 is getting ready to turn to the back side of the Sun.  It still can be made out as well as the faculae, in visible light, and the plages are still nicely visible in CaK and Ha. It covers 20 millionths with 1 spot and is an Hsx spot.  A few filaments are also visible.  Unfortunately my full disk 540nm image has some of the Southern hemisphere cut of.  Well, I did not notice it until I started processing. :-(   So far AR2765 has accounted for 900 millionths for the current Total Regions Areas during CR2231.

The skies cleared and showed AR2765 is still there, covering today 60 millionths with one spot.  The faculae were nicely visible in WL and we could see some filaments in Ha.  Also a few proms.  Today full disk images and close ups of the mentioned areas.

The clouds cleared.  Average seeing today.  AR2765 still shows as a Hsx, 50 millionths, and a one spot active region.  A very small but very bright region showed in Ha in the Eastern hemisphere, and I do include an image of that today.  For the rest the Sun is pretty quiet,  and chances are pretty good that AR2765 will make it to the Western limb.

Another clear day with a bit below average.  AR2765 remains calm with not much activity.  Coverage remains at 50 millionth and 1 spot.  Classification also remains as an Hsx area.  Today full disk images as well as close ups of the area in the three wavelengths.

The cold front arrived and the clouds are gone!  Good Seeing today.  AR2765 has turned to the Western hemisphere and shows nice as an Hsx spot. It did not disappear as the other Cycle 25 areas did.  It covers 50 millionths and shows one spot.  A nice filaprom is also visible at the SW limb.  Today I am showing a number of different images of AR2765 and the filaprom.  All wavelengths show the area at its normal size as well as 1.5x using the drizzle function on AS2. In addition, I have added two Ha close up images taken with the ASI120MM camera, which has a pixel size of 3.75 um.

A session this morning was interrupted by some cloud bands but I  was able to finish before the rain came back. AR2765 has turned further onto the visible hemisphere.  It currently measures 100 millionths and has a Wolf number of 12.  Also the plage in the Northern hemisphere is still nicely visible in Ha, as well as the filament in the Southern  hemisphere.  Full disk images today with closeups of AR2765 and the Plage.

A lot of clouds this morning, but I did wait it out and found some holes (more or less).  AR2765 has turned further onto the visible hemisphere and looks nice.  Its classification is an Hsx, shows one spot and a few pores and covers 70 millionths.  However activity seems very low.  A few nice filaments in the South can also be seen.  But the large prom in the NW is gone and a small prom is now visible.  Today full disk images and close ups of AR2765 in Ha and WL as well as close ups of the proms.

We had clear skies again this morning with good seeing.  We seem to have a new area at the SE limb.  Although still close to the limb, I could make out a pore, or spot, in all three wavelengths.   So we will see if this area gets named today.  Today I have full disk images in all three wavelengths, as well as close ups of the new area and the old plage in the NE.
