Solar Activity for the 27th was Low because AR2683 produced two C-class flares in the last two days.  Total Active Region Area for today is 460 millionths and the spot count is 10. In addition, we had a nice filament West of AR2683 and some small proms.

Solar Activity on the 26th was Low since we had one C-class flare in the last 2 days.  We have three active regions today, and the new Hkx region AR2683 covers an area of 260 millionths. This also was the region that produced the flare. Total active region area for today is 560 millionths and the spot count is 6.  A nice rosette of plasma streams can be seen northeast of AR2681 in the close up.

The following posts will be  short since I am trying to catchup on 5 days of observations.  Solar Activity for 2017-09-25 was Very Low with no flares in the previous 2 days.  We see three active region today.  While AR2681 remained the same size, AR2682 covers already an area of 180 millionths and the third area is still un-named.  The spot count for today is 2.

Clear skies with average seeing.  Solar Activity remains Very Low with no flares in the last two days.  Total Active Region Area for today is 140 millionths and two spots.  AR2681 is still an Hsx on the McIntosh scale.  The filament in the center is still in good shape and we have a few nice prominences at the limbs.

Clear Skies with average seeing. Solar Activity remains Very Low with no flares in the last two days. We still have two Active Regions AR2680, which still can be seen on the Western limb in the WL close up, and AR2681.  Both regions are still an Hsx on the McIntosh scale.  Total Active Region Area for today is 140 millionths and the spot count is 2.  The leaping filament from yesterday is still visible and we have a few small prominences.

Average seeing today.  Solar Activity remains Very Low with no flares in the last two days. We have two Hsx Active Regions, AR2680 and AR2681 with each one Sun spot.  The total Active region area is 120 millionths.  The filament is still very nice and we have some small prominences. Full disk images in the three wavelengths as well as close ups of the mentioned regions and areas.

Below average seeing this morning.  Solar Activity remains Very Low with no flares in the last two days.  AR2680, still an Hsx, covers 50 millionths today as it starts to approach the Western limb. However, a new area has emerged at the Eastern Limb, probably the remnants of 2675 or 76.  The filaments from yesterday are still in tact, but the proms have disappeared with the exception some flaring around the new spot.  Full disk images today with close ups of the mentioned areas.

Solar Activity remains Very Low with no flares in the last two days.  AR2680, an HsX today, still covers 80 millionths and has two spots.  The nice prom from yesterday is gone, but the filaments still are nice in tact. Full disk images today in the three wavelengths as well as close ups of the mentioned regions.

2017-09-18. Clear and stable skies today .  Solar Activity remains Very Low with no flares in the last two days. The only region on the hemisphere, AR2680 covers an area of 80 millionths and still contains 3 sun spots.  The two filaments are still nice to see.  And a prom at the SE limb shows very nicely.

Clear and stable skies.  Solar Activity remains Very Low with no flares in the last two days.  AR2680 has increased a little to 90 millionths but still contains 3 sun spots and is an Hsx on the McIntosh scale.  The filament at the Eastern limb shows nice now where it is a little further on the solar hemisphere.  The small filament a little East of center also looks nice and a nice prom is visible at the SE limb.
