Clear Skies with good seeing this morning.  Solar Activity remains Very Low with no C-class flares in the last two days.  The three active regions cover an area of 600 millionths.  Both AR2499 and AR2600 have increased by 30 millionths each.  Total spot count today is 32.   In addition to the regions we have some nice proms at the NE and NW limbs of the Sun.

Seeing was way below average, caused by Hurricane Matthew. Again, no C-class flares in the last two days so Solar Activity remains Very Low. We still have the same active regions as two days ago. Total Active Region area today is at 570 millionths with AR2599 being the main contributor with 370 millionths.. Total spot count for today is at 20.  Full disk images today with close ups of the three regions in the three wavelengths as well as a nice Prominence at the NW limb.

Windy this morning with below average seeing.  Solar Activity is still very low with only one B-class flare in the last day.  AR2598 is getting a little smaller and Ar2599 has increased to an area of 400 millionths and is now a Cho on the McIntosh scale.  Total Active Region Area today is 480 millionth and the spot count increased to 13.  Today full disk images and close ups of the two regions.

Seeing 5/10 this morning with great transparency.  Solar Activity remains Very Low with no C-Class flares in the last two days and only one B-Class flare in the same period.  We now have two Active Regions, AR2598 and 99.  Total Active Region Area today is 320 millionths and total spot count is 12 Sunspots.  AR2599 has a good start with an Hax area of 200 millionths.  Today full disk images as well as close ups of the mentioned regions and we still can see some scattered filaments spread over the Sun.

I had to observe and image right when the Sun cleared my neighbor’s  tree tops resulting in below average seeing. Solar Activity is still Very Low with no C-class flares in the last two days.  This morning a new “good sized” spot became visible at the Eastern limb of the Sun and the unnamed area from yesterday is now named AR2598.  Total Active Region Area for today is 10 millionths and the spot count is at 3.  Full disk images today with close ups of the mentioned regions.

Variable clouds today.  Had to image through thin clouds for a few of today’s images.  Solar Activity is still Very Low with no flares in the last two days.  No regions are reported except the not named small pore group reported yesterday.  It has grown a little and maybe it will be named today.  It shows nice in the WL and Ha close up.  Today full disk images as well as a few close ups. Because of the clouds did not try to image the nice prominence at the Western limb.

Clear skies with good seeing today.  Solar Activity is still Very Low with no C-class flares in the last two days.  In fact AR2597 was not visible anymore and no new region has popped up yet, and  the small area near the NE limb is too small to qualify for a region at this time.  So my guess is that if this does not change today, we will have a new day without active regions.  Also, the nice filament in the Northern hemisphere is gone today and probably lifted off.  (Wish I would have seen it disappear).  Todays images include full disk images and a variety of close ups.
