The clouds gave way to a clear patch in the sky. However, seeing stayed around average.  Solar Activity remains Very Low.  Today is spotless day 273 since solar max.  The filaments from yesterday are breaking down a bit more and we see only a very faint prom at the SE limb.  Bottom line:  A quiet Sun.

Clear skies with average seeing.  AR2720 can barely been seen in Ha and CaK at the Western limb.  Solar Activity is Very Low.  Even the nice northern filament is breaking apart.  However, a nice filaprom is visible at the NE limb as well as a small filament near the SE limb.

Clear skies, with seeing conditions below average.  Solar Activity remains Very Low and today we only report two sunspots in AR2720 as the regions is getting ready to turn to the far side.  Total Active Region area for today is 50 millionths.  Despite the low solar activity, we keep getting some nice filaments and prominences.

Clear skies this morning with good seeing conditions.  AR2719 and AR2720 are moving closer to the Western limb and are smaller today.  Total Active Region Area for the day is 70 millionths with a total number of sunspots of 6.  The magnetogram shows that the polarity of AR2720 is not lined up with Solar Cycle 24 spots, but reverse which indicates that this might be a Cycle 25 spot.  This however is not the first such spot.  The first Cycle 25 spot was observed on December 20, 2016, and was named AR2620.  A full 100 spots, and 18 months ago.

Clear and stable skies this morning.  It has been a while since I observed the Sun last. Since yesterday we have two named Active Regions, AR2719 and 20. It has been two months since we had two Active Regions at the same day on the Sun, AR2713 and AR2715!  However the size of the latter two outdid the total active region for today which is at 110 millionths with 11 spots. The Solar Activity remains Very Low with no flares in the last two days.  However, we also can observe a very nice filament and a Prom at the NE limb.

Clear skies with good seeing.  Solar Activity remains Very Low.  AR2718 is still there but some of the other features visible yesterday are now gone.  The NW Prom visible the last three days, is now turned to the far side, so it looks a lot smaller but we still do see the two nice filaments in the NW and SW.

A thin deck of Cirrus clouds covered the sky today.  Solar Activity remains Very Low.  The unnamed Sunspot now has been named as AR2718 and was the source of an A9.1 flare yesterday. Close ups today show AR2718 and a few filaments, and three prominences. For the rest a quiet Sun. When I was posting the images, I realized that I had mislabeled them as CR2006.  Please note this should be CR2007. When I find time I might go back and correct them. :-)

Clear skies, but still some haze persisted.  Had to increase my exposure time again.  The little area at the Eastern limb from yesterday has developed in a small spot, but has not been named yet.  A few filaments can be observed and the proms from yesterday are still there. Today’s images include the full sized Sun in the three wavelengths, as well as close ups of the mentioned areas.

A haze covered the Sun today with good seeing but limited transparency.  Despite this, I was able to capture a number of interesting areas of the Sun.  Four small filaments could be observed as well as three nice proms.  In addition, a plage near the western limb and a small bright area near the eastern limb. So, despite the low activity and compromised transparency a number of interesting images.  Needless to say that the solar activity was Very Low today.

The sky cleared up and I had time for a late session.  Solar Activity remains Very Low.  The plage in Ha and CaK is still pronounced and we still have the two filaments.  The small SW prom from yesterday has turned further West and now shows a nice prominence.  For the rest a quiet Sun.
