Good seeing conditions and great transparency today.  Another spotless Sun, so restricted my imaging today to full disk images only, with the Ha image also showing the NE and the western proms.

Clear skies today with good transparency and seeing.  What else to report than another spotless day.  The curved filament from yesterday at the Western limb is now rotating to the far side.  I spend some time with my new ASI120MM camera and included one image.  I am fighting some heavy banding even with the tilter when I am using a 3x barlow.  I will need to spend some more time on this.

Following yesterday’s cloudy skies, today was clear with good seeing. Another spotless day, making it spotless day 463 since Solar maximum and increasing the current spotless streak to 24 days and counting….  So far we had two longer streaks which ended on 11/12/2018 with 25 days, and 3/5/2019 with 33 days, but still short of the 52 days during the transition from Cycle 23 to Cycle 24.  However, we see a nice filament curving at the western limb and some nice proms.

The weather has been terrible here.  Finally the rain stopped and we had clear skies with good seeing.  No sunspots today, but I noticed two small areas popping up with C24 polarity which can be seen in the CaK image where they are approaching the central meridian.  In addition the remnants of the spots from the previous rotation still can be seen as faculae and plages approaching the West limb.

Clear and stable skies.  Another spotless day, but some prominences are visible today on the NW and NE limb. Also the filaments at the Eastern hemisphere look very impressive.  Today full disk images in the three wavelengths as well as 2 close ups of the filaments with the new ASI120.

Clear skies with good seeing.  It is the beginning of a new rotation with another spotless day.  However, a nice filament at the western limb and a nice prominence is visible at the NW limb.

The remnants from the previous rotation’s AR2741 can be seen at the Eastern limb.  But no spots, so another spotless day.  The area also shows some small prominences in Ha.  This is the first time I used my new ASI120MM for the area close up.  My laptop battery ran low so had to stop.  I used to have a ASI120 some years ago but sold it when I got the ASI178MM.  This version has a USB3 interface which the previous one did not have. So look for more images of it in coming days.
