Clear skies with below average seeing this morning. Today we have the start of a new rotation CR2250. AR2886 stays stable and inactive. However a new region has come around the SE limb. It was not named yet in the last briefing, but it is expected later today to be names as AR2887. Its main spot seems to show a nice penumbra in the 540nm image and. So it seems to be an interesting area worth following. Full disk images as well as close ups of the two regions.
