My friend Kenneth Frank in Tiburon asked me to come out to his house for some solar observing when I arrived in SF.  For sure I could not say no.  Since i brought my DMK, I tried to capture a whole disk Sun through his PST-Ha.  I had trouble finding the sweet spot for surface and focus.  In addition, my laptop had a “short life” battery and the mount was a manual mount. So the sun kept sliding of the chip while I was trying to guide, focus and tune.  Here the best I could do in the time with 216 frames. And of course: thanks Ken for letting me do this.
