Sunny clear skies for a change and we do have a new active region.  AR 2703 has come around the eastern limb and even produced a C4.6 flare on its first day. It ends a streak of 11 spotless days with spotless day 192 since solar max.   It covers 10 millionths and has one sunspot.  In addition a faint filament can be seen at the NE limb.  Today full disk images in the three wavelengths as well as close ups of the active region and the faint filament in Ha.
