The new area we saw yesterday was very unstable and decayed instead of being named.  AR2823 has decayed to a plage and only a hardly visible pore could be seen in the 540nm closeup.  So we are ending up with one named active region today.  AR2822 however has also further decayed.  Leaves us to wonder what will happen next…..  Today full disk images and close ups of the mentioned areas.
