Lots of clouds today so my mount battery ran out of power and I had to stop my session.  AR2767 has disappeared around the Western limb, but we gained another region in the East, where AR2770 has emerged.  AR2769 seems stable, however my images today are restricted to 4 WL and Ha images, showing the new region.

Clear skies with average seeing after the clouds burned off.  AR2767 is barely visible at the SW limb.  AR2768 has decayed and is now degraded to a plage, but the new area  a few degrees to the East was named this morning a AR2769, so we continue with spots on the Sun!.  Today full disk images and close ups of the mentioned areas.

Clear skies during the session, but the seeing was below average.  Both AR2767 and AR2768 have further decayed.  In fact, I did not see any spots in AR2768, except some very small decayed pores.  However the new region that came around the Eastern limb yesterday seems to have some spots.  However it is not named yet.  It looks like AR2767 will make it to the Western limb and we’ll be waiting what the new area does.  Unfortunately, I did forget to image the area around AR2768 as a 540nm close up.  I guess I am getting old….

Intermittent clouds today with seeing conditions below average.  Both AR2767 and AR2768 are somewhat stable.  AR2767 covers 90 millionths while AR2768 covers 20 millionths.  Both regions contain one spot.  It seems from the CaK close up of AR2768, that it is being followed by another C25 polarized region which is just coming around the limb.  Interesting to see tomorrow if that’s true or not.  I used again a 4.6x magnification over the full size image for the CaK close ups instead of the 3x which  I normally use.

A new milestone today!!  This is my 1900st. blog post since I started in 2008.     In the early days I covered mostly the planets.  Later on I switched to observing. and studying the Sun.  So today we had clear skies, but the seeing was very marginal.   A new Cycle 25 polarized area has come around the Eastern limb.  It contains a small pore and has not been assigned a number yet.  Ar2767 just seems to linger on, while it seems to deteriorate a little.  Today it covers 70 millionths and still has 1 spot.  Today images of the full solar disk and close ups in the three wavelengths of the two areas.  The conditions caused the CaK images to be pretty bad.

Clear skies again for my observing session.  AR2767 has not changed much.  The same statistic prevail, 120 millionths, an Hsx area, and one spot.  Notice the small filament in the NW hemisphere in Ha

Clear Skies with good seeing.  The Sun still shows AR2767.  It still covers the same area as the last two days with 120 millionths and it is still a single Hsx spot.  Activity is very minimal.  Today again full disk images and close ups of AR2767 in the three wavelengths.

Yesterday a new Cycle 25 polarized Active Region came around the Eastern limb and was named AR2767.  It covered 80 millionths and it has increased to 120 millionths for today.  It contains 1 Hsx spot which is stable.  Today full disk images and close ups of the new Region.

Another spotless day for the Sun.  However, at least a few small faint proms could be seen at the Western limb.  For the rest it seemed quiet.
