A nice Sun today with Active Regions AR1445, 50, 52, and 53.  AR1450 and 52 make a nice combo.  A few B class flares in 50 and 51 not much more.  The SW prominence is still visible and looks very nice. A long series of low prominences at the NW limb, and another prom at the SE and NE side.  Did also image the sun in CaK today.

No clouds to speak of today, but transparency was terrible.  A thin layer made the sun fade in and out causing a real challenge to image today.  5 Active Regions AR1445, 49, 50, 52,and 53 today with just a few B class flares today primarilly in AR1450 and 51.  However a nice tall prominence, which I first saw as a looping prom right next to 1445, but as I got to image opened up.

Clear this morning with variable clouds coming in later.  AR1429 is renamed and on the NE quadrant we now have two active regions 1450 and 51.  The SW limb shows a nice filaprom in the normal processed image.  The closeup does not show the plasma cloud as nice.  A nice filament near 1451 and the active regions 1445 and 49 make a nice view also. Other than that not much activity.

Didn’t have the time in the last three days to image the Sun because of the outreach events, so today I was happy to get back in my observatory and capture a few runs of our nearest star.  A lot has changed since I took images on the 28th.  1445 has progressed a lot further to the west and 1429 which was at the point of reimerging, is now good visible, although it had decayed a lot since it turned to the far side.  But I guess it would be too much to ask for it to get even better than it was the last time it came around.

The large prominence from yesterday is much lower and extended in a filament.  AR1440 is practically on the far side.  Some prominences all around the solar disk.  but AR1445 and 38 still show nice features.

The prominence at the NE limb yesterday has grown even more majestic today.  The right side seemed to rotate and the left was feeding plasma into the right cloud.  Very nice structure.  Today a C5.2 flare in 1444.  Also the nice filament around 1444 has disappeared.

A very interesting sun today.  6 Active regions and some nice prominences and filaments.  Two large proms at the eastern limb and one high extending from the western limb. One of the eastern proms is still showing an arch as it turns to the font of the Sun. A nice encircling prominence around AR1444 and the structure around AR1445 is very complex.  The active regions are not very active in turn of strength, only B and C class flares today.

The Sun is getting more active and showing some prominences also.  Today two nice proms at the eastern limb and one seems to be building at the western limb.  I made a closeup of the SE prom.  Very nice structure of an arching prom.  Also the number of active regions is on the increase.

Finally the sun is out again.  Today 6 active regions AR1438, 40, 41, 43, 44, 45 and a few small prominences.  the regions are relative calm with the last M class flare having been yesterday in 1445.

Thin high clouds impacted the exposure time a little today, but still a very nice day to image the Sun.  The Prominence from the last few days is still there and looks very majestic.  Imaged a closeup with a 3x barlow.  Had to leave for an outreach event.  The 4 active regions AR1432, 33, 34 and 35 are all bunched together at the Western limb today and will rotate out of view soon.  Other than a few C-class flares yesterday and some B flares today and the prominences, not much action.
