Broken clouds this morning with bad seeing.  After 5 days I was able to capture an image in continuum and CaK.  A few nice plages are visible in the CaK wavelength. However in 540nm the sun does not show any sunspots. I have not heard yet from Meade on the repair of my Coronado SM40, so this wavelength is still missing in my images.   The solar Activity remains Very Low, but the spotless days continue to count with today being spotless day 247.

This morning low transparency but average seeing.  Solar Activity remains Very Low with no flares in the last two days.  However, I saw a small pore poking up near the W limb, which seemed to grow in size.  I wonder if this will continue.  I believe the faculae in 540nm in the Eastern hemisphere is decaying.  At least it is much harder to make out now where the light intensity is increasing as it continues to rotate to the Meridian.  Two full disk images and close ups of the mentioned areas. I have to correct my post from yesterday, it was Spotless Day 241 instead of 231.  (They don’t repeat )  :-)

Spotless Day 231 with good seeing and transparency.  The plage draws all the attention in CaK but the faculae is much harder to see in 540nm today than yesterday.  Solar Activity remains Very Low.   Full disk images in CaK and 540nm as well as close ups of the mentioned region and the western limb.

Very Clear and transparent skies with good seeing.  Solar Activity is Very Low.  The plage at the Eastern Limb has not developed any spots, but another very small area without a spot near the Western limb is visible today.  This is Spotless Day number 240.  Full disk images today with close ups of the Eastern and Western limb.

62F this morning a few minutes before 8am!!  What a difference.  Clear and stable skies with great seeing.  Solar Activity remains Very Low.  Today we see a little more of the faculae and plage that came around the Eastern limb and is approx. at the general area where AR2713 and 14 showed a while ago. However, besides the one B-class flare I mentioned yesterday, nothing new has happened.  Today full disk images and close ups of the mentioned region.

Skies cleared up a bit after 10 local time.  Seeing average.  Another spotless day, but some faculae are visible in 540 nm close to the Eastern limb.  This area is very visible in CaK.  However, I cannot make out any spots.  Solar Activity remains Very Low with no qualifying flares in the last two days, although 4 small B-class flares were recorded yesterday, and so far today one.  Full disk images today in 540nm and CaK as well as close ups of the mentioned area.

Spotless Day 236 with average seeing, and below average transparency.  Solar Activity remains Very Low.  Nothing to see today, so my session was very short.  Two full disk images today in Continuum and CaK.

Another spotless day.  Clear skies with average seeing during my observing session.  Solar Activity remains Very Low.  It’s been 8 days since a B-class flare was reported.  AR2714 and 13 were rapidly decaying when we saw them last on 6/24, so I don’t expect them to show up again when those coordinates come around the Eastern limb in the next few days.  Today only full disk images in continuum and CaK.

Spotless Day 234 with good transparency and seeing.  Not much to see in Continuum and CaK today.  I wish I had my Ha scope back, so I could observe the proms and filaments which are not visible in the wavelengths I have available at this time. So today will have to do with full disk images in Continuum and CaK.

Variable clouds during my session on spotless day 233.  Solar Activity remains Very Low.  Not much to see in continuum as well as Calcium-K.  My Ha scope is still at Meade, so cannot report on what can be seen in that wavelength.  Today just two full disk images in continuum and CaK.
