Total sunspot area today is 680 millionths with a total of 27 spots, 20 of them in AR2415. So let’s see how 2015 will continue, although 2418 is growing faster. In addition a very nice prominence is visible at the eastern limb which I measured as about 40,000 miles high. Today the solar disk in the three wavelength as well as a close up of 2425 and 18.
