After mostly cloudy skies yesterday, clear skies this morning with good seeing.  We observe a new, yet not named, sunspot at the Eastern limb. After 7 spotless days we can be tracking a new area again.  The nice filament is still there and the Western limb showed two prominences, on of which was very faint.  Full disk images today in the three wavelengths, as well as close ups of the mentioned areas.

After a week of rain and clouds finally a small break (through) the clouds.  Seeing was poor and resulted in uneven exposures of the images.  Today we have Spotless Day 219.  Solar Activity is Very Low with no flares in the last few days.  A nice filament was visible but because of the cloud conditions I did not have the time to image this feature.  Today just full disk images in the three wavelengths.

The skies remain stable.  AR2709 remains at 10 millionths and 1 spot.  A few filaments and proms are visible in Ha and CaK.

Clear skies with average seeing.  All of the activity on the sun continues to be Very Low.  AR2709 still covers 10 millionths and one spot, but activity around it seems less.  A few prominences and some filaments are also visible in Ha and CaK. Full images today and close ups of the mentioned areas.

Seeing was variable through my session today.  Solar Activity remains Very Low. AR2709 remains at 10 millionths and one spot, although the two other areas from previous reports are still very nice visible in CaK and Ha.  In visible light I cannot make anything out in these areas.  In addition, a nice filament is visible near the Southern limb as well as a few prom spikes at the SW limb.

Solar Activity remains Very Low.  Both active regions have decayed some more and now cover 10 millionths with one spot each.  The plage is still nicely visible in Ha and CaK, but I could not locate the spot in AR2708 in white light. A few small proms were visible around the solar disk. Today full disk images and close ups of the mentioned regions.

Clear stable skies. The area I saw in my previous report has now been named AR2709 and covers 10 millionths and supports 2 spots. AR2708 remains the same size and covers 3 spots. The plage I have been following has not developed any spots yet, so it is still un-named. A few nice filaments can be seen today and an prom at the Western limb is leaping into space. Full disk images in the three wave lengths and close ups of the mentioned areas.

A clear morning.  Solar Activity is Very Low with no >C class flares in the last two days.  Although the Sun produced a small A1.1 flare yesterday.  AR2708 remains at 10 millionths and 4 spots.  The plage seen yesterday near the eastern limb is hardly visible today in WL.  The CaK close up shows something at the western limb that cannot be made out yet. Today full disk images and close ups of AR2708 and a nice prom in Ha at the NE limb.

Clear Skies with good seeing.  The new region from the 4th, has been named AR2708 and covers today 10 millionths with 4 spots. The prominences we saw for a few days have now turned facing Earth so they can only be made out as very low proms and some faint filaments.  Another not named area could be seen NE of AR2708.  Will see how this comes along.  Today full disk images as well as close ups of the mentioned regions.

Had a doctor’s appointment so my session was later today.  Clear and stable skies.  A new active region has developed near the Eastern limb, however the region is not named yet.  In addition, the proms at the Eastern limb are now in better sight.  So far, the region has not produced any flares yet.
