Clear skies today with good seeing conditions.  No spots for spotless day 797 since Solar Maximum.  However, the Sun stays interesting because it shows some nice prominences.  Today’s SE prominence is even larger and wider today then yesterday.  It measures about 43,000 miles high and 150,000 miles wide.  I wonder if on the far side something interesting is associated with this.  Today the full disk images, as well as a close up of the mentioned prominence.
