Updates for the Byers Mount project
Here’s a link to some history and earlier updates on the project. The mount is essentially operational, but waiting for completion of the truss tube.
This is the Byers mount with a borrowed 16″ OTA attached.
The current gate closure time is 7 p.m. After that time, a code is needed for park entry (& access to the astronomy field).
