Mrs. Hill had requested the event again, so we went back to visit the 6th graders of Stone Mountain Middle. This was a very busy event for the two of us, which included first light for the donated PST Ha by Morgan Cline. At the end of the day 300 students/teachers from Stone Mountain Middle saw the sun, through our solar scopes and learned a lot about it as well as about the solar system. The library was not available, so our outside astronomical activites gave the students a much better understanding of concepts related to the Sun and the solar system.
