Last Night

6 September, 2010 (08:17) | Observing | By: tramakers

Wow, what an evening at John Wood Field!   It was great last night.  The sky was soooo clear.  I can’t remember when I saw the Milky Way, the features in Scorpio, and other constellations this bright!!   The turnout was great.  Carlos you missed out on this one :-)
We had a total of 17 people at the field with 8 scopes.  Many of them learning how to use their new scopes or starting to get their feet wet with imaging.  I will upload the pictures from this night later today or tonight.

When I got home, I spend an hour imaging Jupiter, but the seing was disappointing.  Will see how they come out.
Over all, a great night and thanks for coming out and sharing the views of this beautiful night.
Clear Skies,
Theo Ramakers
