This morning the magnetic fields above active reagions AR1226 and AR1227 became unstable and erupted.  the result was an unbelievable M2 class flare and a S2 radiations storm.  This eruption cleared out a lot of the activity that was going on at the sun the days before, so today we see the sun relative calm compared to the last days.
